On this day (Monday, December 6, 2010), we followed the National Seminar on eLearning in the ITB, with the theme "The Role of eLearning in Developing The Quality of Education in Indonesia."
Educational Institution is a center of science and character development center that will become the most important pillars of a nation. The more quality education in Indonesia, it will be the stronger pillars of this nation to a new era in the future full of challenges. And one key to success in improving the quality of education is to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education.
One application of information technology is most needed in the world of education in Indonesia today is the implementation of eLearning programs. Unlike in other developed and developing countries, the use of eLearning in Indonesia by the world of education is still relatively low. Therefore, the understanding of all actors and stakeholders in education is necessary for strategies to develop elearning-based education can be successfully carried out to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.
